Costume Party

We went to a costume party today at the local VFW. We had a nice time. Nicholas is going to be Yoda for Halloween so we dressed him up. I thought he wasn't going to do well with it because of the hat but he doesn't even mess with it. After the party we went to the pumpkin patch so Gordie could get a pumpkin to carve. When he begins carving I will get pictures of that because Nicholas loves to help daddy! My Aunt popped by yesterday to drop of a little pumpkin bear for Nicholas. He was sleeping but he loves it. He likes to eat it. Anything he can get into his mouth is his favorite! Nicholas also pulled himself to standing yesterday. What an eventful weekend!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch today. It was a lot of fun. Nicholas loved looking at the animals and hanging out in the pumpkins. We went with daycare. It was a beautiful day too. Nothing like October with 83 degrees. Everytime we go outside Nicholas lights up. He loves the outdoors. If he is cranky, all you have to do is take him outside and he smiles.

Big Day

Yesterday was a big day for Nicholas! He said DADA. Gordie didn't get to hear him because he was at work. I said MAMA to him and he said DADA back. I was sooo amazed. Wonder what his next word is going to be. He is also starting to wave back to people waving to him. He gets so excited when people wave to him. He is trying to pull himself up onto things too. Yesterday he crawled over to me and I was sitting on the sofa and he was trying so hard to stand. Today when I walked into his bedroom he was almost standing in his crib. So many things are happening. My little happy boy is growing way too fast. Check back soon for more updates :)

My first time

Well I decided it was time I start my own blog. I read them all the time and think hmm wouldn't that be nice if I wrote all the stuff down Nicholas and my family are doing. Well here I am. I am going to try it out. Let's see. Nicholas is now a little over 7 months old. My does time fly. I feel like I just found out I was pregnant. He is growing way too fast. I just started giving him cookies. He loves them, boy does he make a huge mess. He is also crawling all over the place. Can't leave anything on the floor where he can get it.
I am going to post several pictures.
Everyone always asks for pictures and wants to know how he is doing. I will continue to update this and post pictures. If I don't get on every day I will get on a few times a week. Life is pretty busy these days.
